Teacher Faith recently graduated from Reed College with a BA in Theatre and Ancient Mediterranean History, and is thrilled to share her love for storytelling and eager exploration of the world with the vibrant Wildflowers community. Previously, Faith has directed plays, participated in archaeological digs, worked on costume design, taught a class on fairy houses, and spent time as an overnight counselor and crafts teacher at a camp for kids of many ages. She hopes to help create an open, caring, and safe space for kids to explore their creativity, self expression, and relationship to the world around them.
Assistant Teacher Abby recently graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a BA in English and completed a minor in Gender Studies. In her undergraduate program, Abby authored a research project on the importance of diversifying narratives in children’s literature. In the past, Abby has worked and volunteered with children from ages 3-10 in various capacities: helping with storytime in an elementary school library, and supervising an afterschool program. She is excited to be a part of the Wildflowers Preschool community, assist the children as they grow, and to continue her learning journey alongside them. She is passionate about community care, nature, art creation, and reading.
