A Look at our day
Morning Activities (8:30-12:30):
- Free play and morning work cycle(involves special exploration or arts and crafts activities built around the current theme)
- Snack
- Circle Time
- Outdoor Play (may include neighborhood walks)
- Lunch
Afternoon Activities (12:30-4:30):
- Quiet time (Stories, quiet songs and rest)
- Snack
- Outdoor Play (gardening, group games)
- End of the day group activity
Each day we build literacy and math skills necessary for a smooth transition into kindergarten. These skills are worked on throughout our day whether it is counting how many children are at school during morning snack or learning how to rhyme with fun songs during circle time.
